The Demand Project (TDP) exists to eradicate human trafficking, online enticement, child sexual abuse material, and the commercial sexual exploitation of children.

 

 

Our Strategy 

TDP’s strategy for fighting these crimes is the Prevention of victimization through awareness and education; the Protection of victims/survivors by providing access to quality attorneys, restorative justice, and pursuing civil litigation; to assist law enforcement with the Recovery of victims by providing Victim Advocate Support Teams; and the Restoration of survivors by empowering them to choose their own Journey to Freedom through the non-residential and residential Journey to Freedom Program.

Our Story

In 2013, Jason and Kristin Weis co-founded The Demand Project to combat human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children through prevention, advocacy, and survivor support. Though no longer married, their deeply personal journey, marked by immense challenges and loss, has fueled a relentless commitment to creating lasting change.

 

Today, The Demand Project operates one of the nation’s largest residential campuses for trafficking survivors and collaborates with law enforcement, the justice system, and communities. Jason, now a Tulsa County Sheriff’s detective specializing in child sex crimes, serves as a board member, while Kristin leads the organization with unwavering dedication.
